I did survive the hectic drive across Canada and Michigan and New York. I have also been working 9-hour days since my return, which has only made me even more exhausted than I already was. Day off tomorrow. Gonna try and get something up. by which i clearly meant sleep. sleep forever. (... lately whenever I say/think "forever" in an even remotely dramatic way, I hear Pinkie Pie.)
For now, here is the ridiculous story of how my brother kept jinxing my Xenogears game.
( No spoilers, but a bit vague. )
Also since I'm here why not, here are things Jak 3 taught me about driving around in sand.
( life lessons from video games why not )
And as I do not feel like typing up my above-mentioned amazing story, have some MOOD KILLER:
Wanna see places around Vermont underwater from Irene? (Two flooding-related federal disasters in one year, man, what the hell?)
And apparently this clip has made its way into international media, but here is a covered bridge being eaten by a river and I THINK IT IS SAD, OKAY?
Plus a few other (haha, my coworker made this) related links.
... I will end this entry by informing you that bees are really terrible kissers and you should never let one start trying to make out with you and also I am pretty sure I'd have been happy to never find that out. (Also also since worker bees are all female I really wish I could come up with a terrible les-"bee"-an pun or two but no I cannot. Maybe after I finally get some decent rest.)
