So, not much commentary on this, but it is still spoilery, so I'm cutting it.

Heroes 3x03 )

On the subject of my finger, it's... still attached and hasn't changed to a funny colour yet.

Oddly, I have had very, very little tolerance for people and noises rece wait. epiphany. It's hangover from Harvest Market. Too much noise and way too many people, and I did nearly have a freak out Sunday afternoon... Great. At least now I know what's causing it.
D'you know what the unfortunate thing about taking a dancing class is?

Class gets out and you've been dancing for three hours so you're exhausted, and then you sleep through Anatomy and Physiology. And then you sleep in the car on the way home (by the way, you're the driver). And then you sleep in your food and get sauce in your hair, but that's not so bad, because you have to shower anyway, since you're coated in sweat.

Though your mother worries you'll drown, sleeping in the water like that.

...Actually, thankfully, no, mostly you're just really tired.

ALSO, UNLIKE LAST YEAR, MONDAY NIGHTS ARE TOO BUSY, SO NO ONE TALK TO ME ABOUT THE HEROES PREMIER BECAUSE I HAVEN'T WATCHED IT YET. (... does anyone reading this actually watch Heroes? Possibly this is an unnecessary comment.)

Since I think I broke the Post Office (rather, the post office broke my wallet, but surely that's good enough?), I think I'm going to try to start writing letters again. SHUT UP. I LIKE WRITING LETTERS ALMOST AS MUCH AS I LIKE GETTING THEM. It makes me sad when I cannot send them! Got a couple I'm gonna resend for the third+ time (and a couple just disappeared. Poor things. Lost in the postal abyss)... and then I'll probably try to write new stuff. (Don't worry. If you haven't said you want me to mail you random things, I won't.)

(By, "I'm going to try to start writing letters again" I mostly mean, I'm going to pretend to be fictional characters and they'll either drag you on a crazy adventure or just write you a letter. REQUESTS?)

Reason I have the best microcomputer applications class in the history of ever: in this week's class, we elected Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck as president and vice. (The professor was showing us one of the problems with computer-based voting! We had two elections - each "ballot" was the same, but in the results for the second tally, he wrote a program to miscount votes.)

Awesome award. ...Boom.

(Why does "awesome" prompt a boom? Very simple reason, actually. Michael Bay is an explosions lunatic. That article is hilarious.)

ANYWAY. Over at the anonymous meme, someone (I do not know who! Because it is anonymous!) commented that sie wished we had more in common! And I thought about that a bit and it occurred to me, I am not really sure I actually have that much in common with anyone on my friends list!

So I am going to list all of my major fandoms! And maybe why I like them in some cases, and whether or not I actually lurk the fanbase. And then people should feel free to leave comments telling me fandoms they think I should get into! Because I really love getting into new fandoms!

And this an open invitation to everyone! Not whoever left the comment! Because, as I said, it's not as if I'll know, anyway.

In no particular order, then... )

....Aaaand now nothing else is coming to mind. Am I missing any important fandoms or categories? PROBABLY. But, yes. Do we share more fandoms than we thought? Or do I have any fandoms you are interested in? Or do you have any fandoms I should be interested in?
I DISAPPROVE I DISAPPROVE I DISAPPROVE.

I DISAPPROVE OF EVERYTHING.

NO.

Spoilers. In incoherent all-caps. )

Unrelated: I need more card requests. Anyone?

Heroes 2x9: Cautionary Tale )

Final Fantasy XI: Wings of the Goddess ships TOMORROW. So maybe it won't be in stores, but, oh, I am excited for it.

I would love for my Brain to explain to me why, whenever the idea of insane crossovers is presented to it, the first fandom it jumps to is Ecco.

Apropos of nothing:

Spoilers for Heroes 2:05 )

To wildly change topics again (have you got whiplash yet?), "GT" has gone and kicked me in the face. Not in terms of plot or sudden hatred of ending or anything drastic, just in terms of me suddenly having an inability to write (despite having possibly all of it laid out at this point). Stop it, you. I only have a little over a week, you're not allowed to not want to be written now.

Also, face kicking is generally not nice, anyway.

Though I did get one scene written today that I found very hard to do. So, er, that is something.

I have mentioned the new episodes are airing again and making me ridiculously gleeful, yes?

Kindred )

Non-Heroes:

Jecca's plan: finish That Annoying Thing by the end of the month, and then dedicate November to That Crack-Addled Thing. It doesn't have to come anywhere near 50k words, especially not if her wrists are still bothering her a lot at that point, but it's motivation, right?

... Brain, if you think encouraging me to finish one thing so I can jump right into the next is motivating, you are so, so wrong. But I am trying anyway!
The gaming lounge downtown closed! SORROW! More sorrow from downtown, but significantly less so, the Oasis Diner is changing hands. Didn't go there much at all, anyway, but it's still too bad. They're going to completely change it.

Unrelated, my wrist decided it hasn't proven how much it hates me in a while, so now I am stuck in the giant brace-of-no-articulation until the pain (which prompts an odd desire to cut my arm off) passes. (It's really not that huge, but I hate wearing the thing.) I HAVE NO WRIST ON MY RIGHT ARM. It is driving me insane. FLEX, you useless joint! *waggles fingers in futility* Neck is acting up, too, though that's an easy fix (but hearing and feeling my neck crack-pop in like ten places is never not going to be a bit worrying). At least my knees are behaving.

Also unrelated, obtained deluxe Movie Arcee! I'm not sure if they restock Sundays or Mondays, but by the time I have been getting there on Wednesdays, they only have, like... Payload or Dreadwing or somesuch other character that I do not want. She has a functioning kickstand! It is awesome or possibly I am just entirely too easily entertained. (Now if only Concept Camaro Bumblebee would just stop being sold out everywhere...)

Plus, new Heroes. (Yeah, yeah, that started last week. Shush.) (Also, there is no way this 'no longer entirely subtextual' subtext is unintentional.) (ALSO, Claire, ew, and didn't that hurt? JEEZ.)

...Finally, Mom made pumpkin cheesecake. Life is good.

Oh look, spoilers. )

Also, in less "Oh, my God!" news, I saw an ad for the Transformers movie! This is the first time I have seen one somewhere that is not the internet and it made me happy.

Also, also! StarCraft II?? Whoohoo! MORE ZERG! YAY!
adsfhdgj Heroes! Okay, so what that I keep calling most of the plot twists, the ones I don't see coming are just... woah. Woah. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO SAY ABOUT THIS EPISODE. JUST AWUIHKJFGN GAH! (Also, I swear everyone in this series is not-so-secretly gay or something. Seriously, just. Just.)

More BotCon exclusive pictures! Bugbite. I'm actually pretty happy with it, considering it's Bumblebee again and, much as I like Bumblebee as Bumblebee, I am not overly fond of the mold. Bugbite looks really neat, though! (Though, er, does his helmet match the rest of his body? Maybe it's just bad lighting...)

There are images of an Alternators Rodimus! It's even real (that's apparently the guy who does the box art)! Of course, suspicions seem to be that it's going to be an exclusive at SDCC. Blast.

I've left all of ... sixty reviews on FF.net, but finally more than half of them are good reviews left for people who deserve them and not just comments left on stuff my friends wrote and asked me to read. I am so proud of me! Hooray for getting over irrational fears of commenting on stuff written by people I do not know!

... This victory is lessened somewhat when you consider I've had that account for upwards of five years now, I think.

MORE Transformers/Top Gear CROSSOVER ON THE WAY, I PROMISE.

Still no gaming time, but I did watch Heroes, so I suppose I could ramble about that. (Am I just looking for an excuse to ramble needlessly after working on really boring homework all day? No! Of course not!)

This is one of those shows I never really expected to like. Random people with superpowers saving the world. Yeah, whatever, nothing new here.

Then again, I never really expect to like anything. I think I like being pleasantly surprised or something. (So, does that make me optimistic, pessimistic, or just strange?)

These episodes jump around a lot, so I'm just going to clump them by groups of people, starting with whoever shows up first, rather than try to follow the timeline of the episode. (I moved one plotline up to sit next to the group it eventually meets up with.)

'Unexpected' - spoilers, obviously. )

Internet works properly again (I, uh, couldn't access a whole bunch of sites most all weekend, and I'm not entirely sure why, but it was very annoying). Not properly enough for me to do my online homework, but hopefully the teacher will be understanding and not kill me. I'd rather like not being killed.

Plans are in place for Top Gear on Friday (again). Maybe this time there will not be a giant blizzard. (I thought it was very, very funny when she accidentally referred to it as Top Gun and was not even aware of doing it and certainly did not know why, because I did the exact same thing. Though apparently Top Gun is a movie or something, and I did not know that.)

...I do not use my "Angry Crocodile vs. Dolphin of RAGE" icon enough. ooh, here is a reason, though!

Haven't talked about Transformers recently, anyway. I've got the Classics line, with the exception of the Constructicons (mostly because they're not out yet, really). But there are images out. But what's this?

There are supposed to be six Constructicons! Not five! Hook has been replaces by some unknown named Hightower? No! AND WHERE IS MIXMASTER?! THEY DIE FOR THIS. No, they won't. I do wish they'd included all six, though. I like the Constructicons.

At least they remembered Bonecrusher. I mean, that's a serious step up for him, considering even the animators of the original cartoon forgot about him sometimes. (Not saying much, really. I'm not sure they knew what they were doing at least half the time.)
