Was talking to my brother last night, he was telling me about his current Knights of the Old Republic 2 files. He's playing through twice, side by side, one good and one evil file.

Today: "my evil kotor2 file got corrupted"

Well, naturally.

Related IM convo silliness I am preserving here for my own amusement. )

Sooo. I have no idea how to conclude this post.

... part of me really wishes the tags appeared in the order I added them.

Edit:

Again, Aniko's Watchmen figures. Not Sally diving off the DVD case, though. Actually, she hasn't fallen off once since Reno started threatening her! It is amazing. She did stumble once, but, hey! No falling!

No, now we are looking at the three she keeps in her room. Or, well, one of them. Rorschach has caused a few ... puzzles already. When no one is watching, he will, on occasion, catapult across the room. We can't figure out how this happens. (It really is not a trick. On on occasion, she was at work and I suddenly heard a clatter-thunk from her room, went to investigate and... WHY ARE YOU OVER HERE GET BACK ON YOUR STAND. How does he clear the chair? How?) Also, one time he got worked into an impossible tangle in the cables behind her desk. Trying to climb down? Or trying to climb back up? We don't know, but it shouldn't have been possible for gravity alone to do it.

He doesn't seem to have much regard for gravity, anyway, though.

Aniko's still watching Supernatural (about halfway through season 2). Rorschach is apparently curious.

Aniko and I agree he does not entirely approve of Sam or Dean, but he could be a fan of John (which is kinda funny, when you consider...).
Aniko has some Watchmen figures. They aren’t so great, in that they have no articulation and can't stand up. Sally, the original Silk Spectre, is by far the worst offender. Aniko moved her (and Nite Owl II) out into the living room. I don’t know (or at least I don’t remember) why Nite Owl II was moved (she has both Nite Owls, so I have to specify!), but Sally was relocated because she fails at remaining upright.

So instead of Aniko dealing with her falling over onto the desk or keyboard or something, now Silk Spectre routinely dives off one of the DVD shelves to the floor. It's actually really annoying, since she does it almost daily. You can't even walk through the room sometimes without sending her toppling. Sometimes we get sick of putting her back and just leave her where she's fallen for a while.

Anyway, I have a couple of the Final Fantasy trading arts figures, and they’ve always lived on the DVD shelves, though they were rearranged when the Watchmen figures moved in. Reno shares the same case as Nite Owl and Silk Spectre, and I guess he got as sick of her throwing herself around as the rest of us, because he's gone and done something about it.

So, you know… I mean, it's working. She hasn't fallen over for over 36 hours, now! I guess all that was needed was the threat of violence. YOU WILL REMAIN STANDING OR I WILL MAIM YOU. (Look at her! She is terrified...) (Though, uh. You kind of fought crime for a while. Not that I'd want to take on Reno, either, mind you.)

Nite Owl is ready to pull her away if it gets out of hand, but he hasn't actually done anything yet, which leads me to the conclusion that he's seriously fed up with it, as well.

(This actually happened before we watched the movie last night, but I am only getting around to photographing and posting it now.)
If I destroy our router, I'll have no more excuses and will have to buy a new one that hopefully hates me less and works properly. I swear, this is getting ridiculous.

Also, I keep losing the midnight hour. I honestly have no idea what I did during it. This happened last night, too. I know I must've done something. Aniko got a phone call and left with some friends, before that she was playing a game... and I look at my playlist and I remember all these songs played, but what was I doing? Must not've been very exciting, I guess.

Anyway, Aniko and I watched the director's cut of Watchmen this evening ... and might've mocked it kind of a lot (including making inappropriate comments about owl suits, and giving Dr. Manhattan an ear fetish for some reason, I don't even remember how that came around. It amuses me a bit how much I make fun of things I actually like when I can't be bothered for most things I don't), and then we had a short video game discussion (because she's playing Saint's Row 2 but there is still a long list of games that she needs to play or at least watch me play. Silent Hill, we decided, is still at the top of that list and yes that fact is relevant), and then while I was washing my hair, my brain tossed this thought out:

If Rorschach walked into Silent Hill, working off the assumption that he survived it, who would walk back out? Rorschach, Walter, or something else entirely (possibly a mix of the two)? Aniko and I discussed it briefly (and came to the same conclusion), and now I kind of want to see it written so that I could read it. But it'd probably be near impossible to do properly. Oh, well.

...It always surprises me when something I'd been a fan of or known about for a long time doesn't have a tag. The movie came out when? I read the graphic novel how many years ago? This actually happens a lot.

I don't (well, didn't) have a tag for not having a tag, either, it turns out.
