Arg, leave him alone
On the odd chance that anyone reads this, they know that I am trying to introduce a few of my friends to the original Transformers cartoon. Mostly it's working. One's still in season 2 and really likes all of the characters who die in the movie, so I'm a little worried about how that's gonna go over, but, well. This is Transformers and no one ever stays dead, anyway. And even if they do, well... *glances at the retcon machine*
Anyway.
. . . I don't really understand what the problem with Rodimus Prime is. No, really. I really like the guy. (Really.) Sure, he's rather insecure at times, but he doesn't spend all of every episode moping over having to be the leader. That's mostly reserved for The Burden Hardest to Bear. No, he's not Optimus and yes I realize I just answered my own question, there, but he does try. Plus, he's very amusing.
Also, Galvatron, Cyclonus and Scourge are all awesome. Yes, Galvatron's a tad off, but he is still awesome. Just look at the three of them! How can you hate them?
I mean, I wouldn't call Inferno from Beast Wars sane, but you rather like his special brand of insanity. (Which, okay, is more him thinking he is an ant than actual insanity, but still. None of you seem to realize that, anyway.)
Just a little sick of feeling like the only person who doesn't hate the entirety of season three. Or season 4. ...Or, you know, much of anything.
Maybe it's time to try and find a forum where there will be people who do not squint at me funny for liking this series. Possibly they will all be insane, but ... *gah*
I think I just suffer from chronic liking of all things Transformers. (Possibly "suffer" is the wrong word, here. *heh*) (And, okay, "all things" may be a little bit of a stretch.)
I was supposed to play some more Silent Hill 2 tonight, but my SH2 partner is feeling a little under the weather, so we postponed. Just as well. I needed to finish stitching in all 27 yards of hair into the doll heads. What in the name of Cybertron was I thinking when I came up with this idea? 27 yards of string is far too much.
I had an interview today. I should hear back within a week (probably within a day or two, she said, but a week to be safe). They're thinking of putting me in the bakery where I would get to decorate cakes all day. I certainly wouldn't argue with that. I wish, though, that I could have found summer employment back when it was still, you know... summer. Blarg.
The radiator on the other side of the room is making hollow, thunking noises. They're beginning to worry me. It's not about to explode or something, is it? . . . The dog doesn't seem worried, so I'm not gonna bother investigating the matter.
As a rather random aside, I'm going to throw Vector Prime at the next person who tries to convince me Romeo and Juliet is a great love story. I'm serious.
If he breaks, I'll be sad.
Anyway.
