I took a good chunk out of the palm of my right hand two days ago. It hurts.

The FFXI update is awesome. ...Especially for people who are 75 and/or Dark Knights and/or Bards. Also see: not me. :D But this is good for my brother on 2/3, so. He's very, very happy about his absorb-TP spell and, at the moment, is waiting in Port Jeuno for the San d'Orian airship and casting Raptor Mazurka on himself whenever someone new comes to wait for the airship. So yes, Nabi? Happy mithra. Good for Nabiki!

Grimlock's 27 and already twice as far as Setsuna ever got. That's distressing.

In other news, my DVDs finally came back to me today! It's very nice to have everything back where it's supposed to be. It helps my glee that they are my Transformers DVDs. I'd say I'm never loaning them out again but that would be a complete lie. I like spreading the crack joy of my fandoms. If that means loaning my DVDs or games, so be it. ...Of course, no one I know actually likes Transformers.

My brother, of course, has visited the lands of insanity (at least once) while waiting for his laptop to arrive. It hasn't shipped yet. I think he's suffering from "decent, working computer" withdrawal. I would be, too, in his position. His computer can surf the internet, but beyond that? It can't even import music. The eMachine, which he's been using (as it at least has a video card, unlike the one we got from Grandma), runs Diablo2 just fine, but has issues with XI. It crashes out all the time (and it doesn't have the ToAH expansion pack, so he can't even homepoint).

I really want to write, but my original characters have all gone on summer vacation, and lately I've been unable to come up with prompts for fanfiction. :\ Hopefully it ends soon.
If you're cynical enough, no matter what, the world just has to step in and prove you wrong.

... Of course, it doesn't make up for irony, which will step in and ensure the above statement is, in fact, false sometime within the next twenty-four hours.

Anyway, got one of my packages today. Fortunately for my nerves, it was the dog! \(^.^)/

Now I just need my DVDs and for my transcript to go through. ...I'm doomed.

I hate long entries and so abuse the lj-cut function! )

Still, I'd rather have a cavity and impending pain from retainers and forced moving of teeth than no dog (or DVDs. ...So, postal service, where are they?).

Also. Dog. :D
