My radiator is still making ticking noises
I still don't know why.
Nine hours until Mom, Dad, and my brother leave. I wanted to go with them, but there's not room in the car for all of his college supplies and me, so I'll stay home with the pets instead. ...I don't like being home alone, and they'll be gone for two days. I am one of the wimpiest twenty-year-olds I know. I asked my only friend in the state (note to self: never attend college out of state again unless you plan on spending summers in said other state) if she'd be willing to spend a night here while they were out, but she'd rather break the rules at her dorm and try and move in a day early.
It kind of stung a lot, really.
I know she has other friends here (comes from attending college in the same state you live in and not being a complete social reject throughout high school) and I know she has a full time job in the summer, which is why I don't ask her to hang out much. I know she's busy and has better things to do than hang out with dork like me who'd rather watch kids' shows about giant robots than go hang out at the mall (we're ignoring for the purpose of this angst-bout that the person is question doesn't like hanging out at the mall, either), but I wish we'd been able to get together once or twice this month before she went back to school... and I really hate being home alone at night...
Maybe I'll meet some people this fall. Yay for transferring to an in-state college.

...I honestly never thought I would see this from someone I know. She's totally clueless and she pretends not to be. This is dangerous, and I know this, but as long as she keeps her silly little stories to herselfand stops asking me to listen to them because I am running out of nice ways to tell her she sucks it shouldn't be a problem, right?
I honestly never thought I'd ever hear someone I know say that, hey! Watching the show really helps you learn about the canon!
... Shouldn't you be familiar with the canon before you try doing anything in the fandom?
I am so thankful this wasn't Transformers she was talking about. Now if only I could make her forget ever having seen any of Beast Wars so she can leave those poor characters alone.
I had my job orientation today (or, rather, yesterday, as it's after midnight). I officially start next Thursday. I'll never have to work past 7, either! I'll be able to make it home for dinner! Yay.

I'm not big on first person shooters - mostly because I've never been very good at them. Any skill I appear to have can be attributed to my not having any idea what I'm doing and so being completely random. It's like how a master chess player can have troubles playing against someone who only knows how which pieces move - they move too randomly to be predicted.
I'm actually really enjoying this, though (probably because it's single player).
Getting a little sick of Lucrecia popping up every now and then and stating that she is "so sorry." I don't care, it's still creepy. Stop being creepy, Lucrecia - that's supposed to be Hojo's job.
This all said, Chaos scares me far more than he/it ever originally did in 7. That's saying something.
