As a bonus, finger has not gone septic, fallen off, or even started oozing again yet. Though when we rebandaged it again tonight, Mom commented that it very nearly did come clean off, and that no wonder it took forever to stop bleeding. So my claims of nearly losing the tip of it were, in fact, not an exaggeration. (I hadn't thought they were, but it's always nice to have confirmation...)


But that is not the point. The point is MAPLE JELLY BEANS.

We're like half an hour into things? (Parade ends at about 9:30 and then people start selling things.) I have spent one dollar (it only cost sixty cents, but I told the guy to keep the change).

With that dollar, I have purchased...

- pack of Hello Kitty playing cards
- Star Trek: TNG Captain Picard figure (no gun)
- Star Trek: TNG Geordi figure
- Transformers: Armada Cyclonus (no missiles, no Crumplezone)
- Beast Wars Manterror (missing one arm and one purple mantis leg, no missiles, but is still invincible)
- G1 Groove (no guns)


Manterror (own him already) and the Star Trek guys (no room for them! *woe*) are probably all going to ineptmagicuser, and the cards are for Mom. Could be persuaded to part with the other two, as well, really.

I will probably go back to see if I can find Manterror's arm Sunday evening once everyone's left and the stuff's been cleared out a bit. There was also a Beast Wars Prowl (the lion who combines into Magnaboss), but he was missing three legs, so I didn't bother. Will be going back out to check all the other places (only hit the Toy Barn so far). Maybe if I find some of his limbs in my search for Manterror parts.

Saw some kid gleefully carting around a little Jigglypuff stuffed toy, too, which was oddly adorable. He looked so happy!

BOOK NOOK MAKES ME HAPPY. Haha! Mom and I just picked up something like twenty books for about seven bucks. Awesomeness.

Scanned the literal field's worth of little booths. Mostly foods and crafts, and nothing I'm particularly interested in buying. It's fun to look, though! The video-guy was back again and he still has a couple Sega Genesis games. Nothing I don't already own (twice, since they put out collections), but it brings me ridiculous amounts of joy to see the stuff still available for sale.

Also some woman mistook me for a guy. That has never happened before! It was funny. (Mom almost seemed a bit offended, but honestly, it was jut amusing.)

ALSO. Fresh-pressed apple cider! And cider donuts! They are delicious. (I like just watching them press the cider, too, though. It is kind of hypnotizing.)
