Isn't that surprising.

If I am annoyed about something, I do not think it is out of line for me to rant about it! If you (any you) have annoyed me, yes, maybe I will, in fact, rant about you! Maybe I will do it to a single person, or a small group of people! Maybe I will do it here! Maybe I will make an aggravated status update on Facebook! I don't know. I cannot predict these things. Whatever I do, the point stands, I am annoyed, and I am venting! Many people do the same thing. It is not necessarily a bad thing to get anger out of your system! If the fact that I am going to rant when frustrated is unacceptable, then perhaps you need to stop doing things that you know piss me off? (I'm not talking accidental things, here. I mean, I specifically tell someone that something they've done, and do a lot, annoys me, and could they please try not to do it in my company? And they continue to do it and then get annoyed when I get annoyed and expressed my annoyance. Seriously, though, if I've told you more than ten times, I give up and just resort to complaining to other people.) (And, hey, if I don't feel like making a big deal of it enough to tell you directly, but am still annoyed at the time? STILL LEGIT.)

I am apparently the only person in the world who takes allergy medication to allow myself to wake up. I mean, I am still groggy as all get out, but I can at least be awake! But uuugh I feel like blah! And my brain isn't working properly, which is really annoying.


Man, I'm almost out of stamps. Not sure what I'll do when I actually run out. I like writing letters but uurgh buying stamps, what a pain. I'll probably pick some more up eventually, though, because I am weak. (I came to the revelation the other day that, despite having gone through ... uh. A LOT. OF STAMPS.* In the last year or more, I have only had three letters in reply! Good thing I don't write for the responses. XD) (Haha, one of them I still need to finish my response to. Someone wrote back to the "GT"-verse letter a couple of you got, so I'm like... contractually obligated to respond, or something. And also I want to. So!)

* "Forever" stamps come 20 to a sheet and I'm about to use my last two. I don't use them for international mail, and a couple times I've used some of my prettier or sillier stamps, which I have to stack, since none of them are equal to... whatever stamps are costing these days.

... Hm. Actually, I'm almost out of envelopes, too. This is more surprising than it should be.

Fun complaint from the FFXI playerbase that was going around for a while (maybe it still happens, but I don't see any of it, anymore) was that SquareEnix had mucked things up somehow and you were double-billed for your account. What a pain! So you call them to get it corrected and they refund the charges and next month rolls around and suddenly you find yourself banned for trying to skip payment. So you have to call SquareEnix again. That second part doesn't always happen, but it did seem to a few times. Hasn't happened to me (yet?).

Saw a thread yesterday, "You thought FFXI's double bills were bad?" and I was intrigued! So I clicked. It was another link! Apparently Warhammer Online had some kind of epic glitch and billed massive amounts of its players - regardless of whether or not they were due for billing - tens of times. People were charged in the thousands. And then hit with overdraft fees!

That is terrifying. I mean, yeah, of course you want to have more than the absolute minimum needed in your bank account if possible - even I always have enough to pay my bills and for any extra stuff that comes up. Food, or whatever. And I always make sure I have cash. And I have a credit card for emergencies. But I do not have thousands in my bank account! (People paying with credit cards got off a bit better since, of course, you do not pay that immediately and all.)

Players are being told to contact their banks to get it reversed (which, hey, whatever. You need to own your own mistakes, though, guys), banks aren't all wanting to remove the overdraft fee...

Obviously they're working to fix this, but wow. If something like that ever happened to me, that'd be it. I would be done. Account'd be canceled immediately. (Though, uh, apparently some people were billed despite having terminated their account months earlier.)

Additionally, this apparently isn't the first time this has happened! Though it's on a much larger scale this time. Geez...
