Static!
We beat Silent Hill 2 last night.
James jumping down holes is amusing to me because of Chibi-Silent Hill 2.
I got to laugh as she realized you have to fight two Pyramid Heads in the second to last battle as opposed to the one you run into (ah, literally, in some cases hey there, labyrinth!) throughout the game.
Aside from one extremely odd mishap with Eddie, we again finished without any deaths. ... Eddie managed to one-shot us somehow. We didn't quite figure it out, as seconds prior, I'd been in the menu and checked the health - James was fine or the game was lying. But whatever. We got the Leave ending (which is what I got last time, too. Was kind of hoping for a different one).
James is far too amusing (in a "wow, the man is several light years beyond insane back away slowly" kind of way). She began to agree with me when she discovered that, when he's wielding a two-handed weapon (like the steel pipe, which was our weapon of choice for everything except the final two boss fights, 'cause we're both very silly), if you make him sidestep around enough and pivot, it looks like he's dancing. I know there's a name for it. With the hat and the cane? (Vaudeville?) Anyway, in the Room of 9 Save Points, she spend a good ten to fifteen minutes making James dance around (and singing "Puttin' on the Ritz" - or the parts she knows, which isn't much). Great fun!
Changing topics entirely, what's up with people saying, "Oh, my Primus"? Isn't that like saying "Oh, my Zeus" or something? I... was pretty sure Primus was the name and not the title. *boggles*
... um. My brain just went from Silent Hill to Transformers and... Crossovers. No. SO MUCH NO. I need a "delete" function for my brain. Stupid brain.
I got a package in the mail today from a friend out-of-state. An extremely late birthday present, whoo! It's the *erm, guesses at height*8 12 inch (or so) Squall Leonhart figure from the Play Arts line SquareEnix is putting out these days. It's a very nice figure, and I think Squall's a pretty interesting character, but... Now I have the Squall, the Vincent, and I still have the I still don't know the height on these things 14" Kimahri figure. I do not know what to do with any of them. I have no room for them! Especially not the Kimahri. Arg. (I love them anyway, of course.)
I do like the little 4"-ish figures more, mostly because I can buy the two or three characters I want and then perch them on a corner somewhere, but these ones I keep getting? Too big.
I have no concept of measurements. Could you tell?
