Major accomplishment!
For me. Nothing to do with robots. Now I am talking about Final Fantasy XI... and wondering if this is kind of what being drunk on on drugs or something is like. Wow, my spelling is atrocious.
Anyway, I promised Mike (Grozoth) while we were on Mackinac that when we got back, he and my brother (Nabiki) and I would all finish leveling up to 50 (50 is the first cap. There's one at 55, 60, 65, 70, and then we currently top off at 75). We finally all managed to get together tonight to do it,
Too bad it was 90 with humidity. My laptop hates this weather. We set up a bizarre cooling system involving ice packs, a high-power fan (that you need a screwdriver to turn on because it's also kind of busted, ha), an encyclopedia, a magazine, and the kitchen table. It's brilliant, really.
I am so tired right now. I stood up and staggered and nearly missed the doorway. I also asked where the floor was, because even now I'm not very sure. Which way is down? I am so tired.
We got a full party, lost someone, got a replacement, lost someone else and couldn't find a new sixth so we went at things in a group of five, and then we all got murdered by a pack of crawlers and beetles. I always die last. I guess it is because I am a thief and so never really do anything other than trick the monsters into thinking someone else just stabbed them in the back. heheh.
So our summoner ran back to town, changed to white mage, ran back and raised us all, but then one of our two tanks (duel-Samurai tanks! Awesomeness!) had to leave and we decided not to bother and Nabiki, Grozoth, and I just fought things while Tamara kept us healed.
AND THEN I FINALLY HIT 50!
This is one of those things that just... I've been playing since the North American launch in, what, October, 2003? This is one of those things that I just never thought was going to happen, so it's pretty cool. Though, really, it's pretty disappointing that I'm just too tired to care right now.
Edit:
I'm sorry if this entry is still incoherent. I've gone and edited really stupid and confusing mistakes out over eight times now and, honestly, considering I can't walk in a straight line right now, I just don't care. Good night! Morning. Whenever it is. Oh, God, I need sleep.
Also my poor wrist hurts so bad I don't even want to walk and I don't even know how the two are related.
