Sometimes I watch television. On my computer.
Finally finished the first season of Life on Mars.
ACK TESTCARD GIRL RETURNS. Well, sort of. Her voice is back. That's enough. She is frightening.
AUGH, it was his dad! Poor Sam! How awful. (They were playing outside while waiting for the call and it was really cute! I am distressed. Stop causing me distress, Life on Mars. Just... gah!) (And then he didn't wake up when he was so sure he was going to.)
(Also, I am glad we finally seemed to get an explanation for the flashback-green-running-whatever scenes he keeps seeing/remembering, but...)
(...Augh! Oh, Sam.)
The dynamic between Sam and Gene reminds me perhaps more than it should of Dinobot and Rattrap (Beast Wars), even though individually the two sets don't have that much in common. ...Aside from the snark, anyway.
...Wait! Wait. Didn't his, er, past-family... disappear a few episodes ago? When did they reappear or move back or whatever? ...so confuuused... Sam's crazy is contagious or something.
I really think they keep attempting some Sam/Annie thing, but I... I just am not seeing it. All of the tension in this entire series this far has been between Sam and Gene, and I just passed the halfway point. I can't imagine that changes in the second eight episodes.
... end of season one. NEED MORE. auhdfkjg But there is no time tonight. Tomorrow? I am so glad I've no more schoolwork. And my wrist hurts. Oh, wrist. Doing a report on tendonitis was a bad idea, seeing as how it seems to have made mine act up.
And still the shift key doesn't work when I try to type "Mars" for the title. This is getting kind of creepy.

It's terrible. I'm terrible. It's barely May and I'm still just so excited about BotCon I can hardly stand it. Maybe part of it's because TransformersCon (up in Toronto) was this weekend and now I'm seeing con reports (I'm kind of annoyed that I couldn't go and so missed Michael Bell, but, well. Nothing to be done about it). Robots! Robots, robots, robots.
Though I am a bit nervous, too. I don't do so well with crowds, worse with crowds full of strangers, and I'm not going to know anyone. eep.
Oh, slag, something in the hallway just bumped into something else and made it fall over or something. It was probably just the cat, but it's late/early and I've just come from watching a show with slightly-creepy Silent Hill themes and I'm exhausted from standing on my feet and working all weekend and I have an extremely overactive imagination sometimes. Reason and logic suggest it was the cat, or just the house settling, but if you never hear from me again, assume a Patient Demon, or something equally disturbing and sinister, got me.

For my reference and entertainment: this very wonderful person has apparently uploaded all of Beast Wars and is starting/almost finished with Beast Machines! How wonderful! (I own the entirety of both series on DVD, but it is always nice to find things online.) (Er, if anyone reading this has never seen Beast Wars and would like to fill the void in their life that they're not even aware of - shut up there is totally a void if you haven't seen Beast Wars - I will gladly provide an episode list.)
