It's not exactly a secret that I have a very small opinion of Malibu's intelligence. Look, she tries, okay? But she's an IDIOT. I love her. She wouldn't survive 5 minutes outside on her own.
Sazy was smart. She was clever. She was, this is important, a GREAT hunter.
Anyway so there's a mouse in the apartment, right? Happens every year. Sazy kept them in line. Or. Well. She killed them, anyway. She could run like the wind and break their little necks in a flash.
Malibu spent like half an hour chasing one around in circles (under my bed.....) last night. She finally caught it, but then she put it back down. And then it walked away and she was confused and couldn't find it. Meanwhile, me, pointing at it, Mal, Mal, MALIBU LOOK, mAL. Nope. Ran around the bed a few more times and then collapsed on the floor panting in exhaustion.
Anyway so when I said there's a mouse in the apartment what I meant was, there's probably a mouse corpse somewhere in the apartment because she definitely bit it and it was moving pretty slow when it waddled out from my room.
In unrelated news I've officially been working from home for a year and I haven't worn a bra in just as long and I don't think I can ever recover from these things.
