DAY FOUR: BLOOD&GUTS and by guts i mean brains

And by "and" I mean "or."

Anyway. TODAY'S TOPIC IS VAMPIRES VS. ZOMBIES: which do I prefer?

And apparently this is not even a thing for me, because yeah zombies. SORRY, VAMPIRES. I know a lot of people think you're pretty great, but I guess you don't do much for me. Maybe vampires have just been around too long, I don't know. They bite people and drink their blood and maybe make other vampires and maybe just kill, whatever. And that's basically it?

I mean, to be fair, zombies just try to eat people. BUT. Zombies, or zombie-like creatures, tend to have way more interesting stories told around them. I mean, how many "science fucks up, whoops, vampire epidemic" stories are there? Nah, they're always zombie-like. And I like zombie apocalypse stories. Maybe they're fungus zombies like in The Last Of Us, which I really need to finish watching someday, since I'm pretty sure I'll never actually play it. Resident Evil? Zombies. You could probably make an argument for some of the things in the Silent Hill series being zombies, too, if you wanted to. BAD ZOMBIE MOVIES. Hilarious. Love 'em. Bad vampire movies are usually just bad.

Also, I don't think this is a factor in my preferring zombies, but I do appreciate how zombies aren't romanticized so much. Vampires, poor things, everyone thinks they're sexy. It's hard work these days, trying to be a scary, blood-drinking monster.


I really feel like I should have more to say here, but the truth is I still kinda feel like crap and I wanna go to bed.
