YES I DID
A 'pede invaded Aniko's room and there was much panicking (and a very confused Jecca, until she learned what was going on), followed by a raiding of the room to discover the 'pede's hiding place. The hunt was unsuccessful, but in the process, Aniko's bookshelf was knocked over! Partially. She keeps a bunch of her Transformers figures on it, and from what it sounded like, a fair number of them dove to the floor. Nooo! And I was recruited to hold the bookshelf upright, since the spot on the floor it had been moved to was uneven.
And, really, that probably would have been that. Smokescreen needed a little help getting everything back into place, but that wasn't anything too difficult. Everyone needed to be put back into place, as well, obviously, but then we noticed...
Classics / Universe 2.0 Prowl had gone and lost his head. He was in vehicle mode, which only adds to the puzzle. (His head is attached to the underside of the piece outlined in light blue here. original pic from tfu.info)
Now, Prowl losing his head's funny enough on its own, but you add in one of our little in-jokes, and the situation was suddenly such that I was rendered unable to breathe for laughing. Aniko, of course, was not in my position because she worried we'd never find it, and once I'd finally collected myself a bit, I joined in the worrying, because, yeah... we literally upended the room and the thing was nowhere to be found. Stripped the bed, nearly toppled the bookshelf again, everything. It was gone.
Except, oh, wait, no, I finally found it wedged on the top of a Tom Robbins book on the very bottom shelf. We've no idea how it got there, but, you know, crisis resolved, at least.
SO NOW WITH THIS ENTRY I WILL REMEMBER THIS HILARITY ALWAYS seriously I can't believe it was Prowl and his head of all the figures and all the pieces, what are the odds? Oh, Prowl. Never stop being unintentionally hilarious.
