I'm not sure why. It's not as though I'm going to hurt LJ's feelings by not coming by or updating or anything.

rionaleonhart's been talking about it, ( I popped FFXII back in for a little while. )
Finally got around to having birthday cake yesterday (I've been - and continue to be - ill, but it's March and I should start getting better any time now). I often let my mother experiment when she makes a cake for my birthday, because while I do like cake, there isn't one particular type I favor. Some years it works very well (she made a yellow cake with soft maple frosting last year that was beyond excellent). This year would've been great, too, I think (yellow cake with brown butter frosting and apricot filling), except the cake itself got a little overdone and so is a bit dry. The flavor is great, but the texture's a tad strange.
School babble. My English Comp professor is easily confused. She apparently wants me to specify who's talking every single time anyone says anything. This is driving me into a sort of rage, one where I apparently hi-jack my own journal with extremely strange writing bits. I actually removed it from the text box because it was entirely too random, even for me. I'm not even sure what it was doing there. These things just happen sometimes. (Er, that is to say, sometimes I find myself typing things without being aware of why I am typing them, not that random pages of text are prone to appearing out of nowhere.)
We're holding an example debate in speaking class tomorrow, and we need to find a recent, local article based on our assigned side of the argument. I'm supposed to find an article opposing changing the legal drinking age from twenty-one to eighteen. The problem here is, no one is writing articles supporting the drinking age being twenty-one because the drinking age is already twenty-one!
And so, apropos of nothing, no new Heroes until April... 23rd I think it was? Whatever.
...no, really, that's actually all I have to say on it right now. Running verbal commentary that I'm aware of while watching usually spares the rest of the world from my incoherency later.
