Not me, I'm afraid. Too many other things going on this year, and...I'm not wholly sure I really want to give more money to that organization anyway. :/

Yeah, I can hardly fault you for that. I wish they could at least manage to make it less of a cluster. Is there a con people are going to instead that isn't TFCon? I probably won't be able to get my passport renewed in time for that, and border crossing is frequently a hassle.

edit: Wow, replying via email sure adds a large wall of text to your comment contents, doesn't it.

I find that if you delete EVERYTHING but your reply (your signature, the other person's previous comment and the heading and everything) and don't try to choose an icon other than your default (you're SUPPOSED to be able to preface your reply with a line that changes your display icon), then it SHOULD show up passably. >.>

Passports = now is best time to get them renewed (cuz it's slow). At least, that's what I've been told.... waiting until it's close to peak travel season is worst time to get a passport done (cuz everyone is rushing to do so) xP


Er..... if you wanted to come to Kansas.... TFExpo is in August (It's a really dinky con though... like teensy weensy, but the location is near plenty of food & shopping xD;;) ........

Yeah, sounds like most people aren't planning on going either because of financial obligations or the utter lack of details making it a low priority choice.

Sometimes, maybe even frequently, I really hate Fun Pub. I wish they weren't in charge of the big con. :(

Hmmm. Maybe I should try to find time for it, then. (There goes an entire Saturday, haha... Ha.......)

I'm gonna go crazy if I don't get out and do something fun. I will give that serious consideration!

:/ They're really bad about promoting their show -- like, uh, don't want to go if ya don't tell us who's on the guest list, etc. etc. and all that random stuff xP ..... Plus, Botcon's reg comes up so short timed, it's hard to plan & prep for.... (putting vendor reg up 30 days before a show is just really bad taste, IMHO).
I'd swing it if I wasn't moving & whatnot...


^^;; Eh, yeah.... Passports are a pain... but better done sooner rather than later. :P
