BOILING LAVA! Yes.
So the light in the basement is motion detecting or something. Really precisely so, or something? I didn't know that, so going down these this morning to do my laundry was kinda trippy. I was like, wait, the light is on? It looked like it was off as I was coming down the stairs, but they are all full of corners, maybe I was wrong. Maybe whoever did laundry last night left it on... or maybe it is always supposed to be on?? No one else was home, so I could not ask. But then when I went down later to move things around, I was SLOW and CAREFUL and, yeah, hey, what the heck, the light is totally off now-- NO WAIT IT IS ON.
AND THAT IS HOW I DISCOVERED THE BASEMENT LIGHT TURNS ITSELF ON.
And now I shall forever be afraid of it turning itself off on me.

Day 06 - Most annoying character.
This one was hard, because I generally don't actually find characters annoying (despite how much time I occasionally spend screaming or all-capsing at them), and even when I do, I usually get over it. However, I think I have come up with an answer? Sophia Esteed, from Star Ocean: Til the End of Time. I just … I can't even tell you why she annoys me? But I remember always wanting her to go away any time she was on the screen. I think part of it's her voice, part of it is the ridiculous pants she's wearing in the beginning of the game, and part of it's probably her attitude, I don't know, but for whatever reason, every time she was on screen, I was just… argh. I DON'T KNOW? GO AWAY, SOPHIA.

ARGH.
This is a stupid day and I dislike it. I SHOULD HAVE JUST SKIPPED IT.
My stomach's been bothering me today, so I had a third of a pint of ice cream after dinner. There are good decisions, and then there are the things I decide to do.
Whatever, it was delicious. I regret nothing.
Today at work I saw a woman wearing a tiger-stripe suit jacket and a leopard-spot suit skirt. Hilariously unfortunate. Fortunately, she did not linger in my department, so I did not have to bite my lip for too long. Also, I helped a tiny old lady pick out doughnuts and muffins. She couldn't read the labels or reach half of them, but didn't want to bother anyone asking for help, so she nearly killed herself accidentally pulling a doughnut tray out of the case. The noise attracted my attention. (And apparently I spent the entire day smirking, because people kept asking me what I was thinking of that was funny and then explaining to me that I was smirking when I confusedly replied, nothing, why do you ask?)
