My elbow is no longer a bruised mess.
The procrastination is going well. In my defense, it's been a really nice day, so I can't entirely be blamed for wanting to spend most of it outside. Now that I am back inside again (and, actually, it looks like it might start raining again soon), I will maybe start working on things? Or maybe I will find new and exciting ways to procrastinate more!
For example, my TPB copy of "Last Stand of the Wreckers" arrived! I should reread it! Man! So excited! It's been sold out for months, so I was surprised to see it back in stock on Amazon last week. Though I am kind of bummed, too, since getting it probably marks the end of my days of buying IDW's stuff, since they lost me with the Ongoing. Really, they lost me with the "All Hail Megatron" soft reset, since I was liking what they had going before then, and to see it all just thrown out the window was disappointing. But I stuck with it 'cause what the heck, I already had the first half, may as well see how they wrap this chunk up. And then the Ongoing sounded like it got off to a bad start (more death and Optimus surrendering and Earth being full of robot-killing jerks and just what the hell), and it doesn't sound as if it's really getting much better, and bleh. It does my wallet a favor, anyway.

Day 02 - Your favourite character.
oh my god i cannot even begin to answer this question I can't narrow it down to one character per game, never mind one character overall. Everyone is my favourite. I am terrible at favourites! AAAAAAAAAAAA

SORRY, I KNOW THIS IS A LAME ANSWER, BUT I HONESTLY JUST CAN'T DO IT. I have spent days dwelling on this (I was thinking on some of these questions before I started posting). Seriously, I just… I've actually gotten worse with age. I used to actually have favourite characters, but then as time has gone on, I've grown to love EVERYONE SO MUCH, and now I apparently just default to OVERWHELMING ADORATION OF EVERYONE so asking me to pick between, for example, Cloud and Sora? Is actually impossible. I adore them both! For entirely different reasons! But just because they are so different does not make me love them less equally! I can name a bunch of characters who are not my favourite (for example, I am reasonably confident Wakka is not my favourite. Neither is the Asterite!), but after a point I become unable to continue that list, as well. I cannot sneak up on a favourite, either, apparently. I'VE TRIIIIED. :< (I have managed to cut the list down to barely LESS THAN 100?)
I mean, to be fair, there are games where I care less about the characters-in-general. Star Ocean: Til the End of Time, which gets a mention later on, for example, I enjoyed it well enough, and I definitely love some (most? I haven't actually run the numbers) of the cast, but I could pick "the cast of Final Fantasy X / 2" over "the cast of Star Ocean" without too much screaming and flailing in distress. Admittedly this is not necessarily a great example because while, yes, I do really like most of the cast in SO3, I also find a fair number of them absolutely maddening. (It is, in part, the voice acting.)
I suppose I could always cheat and say Hisime is my favourite! But she is near and dear to my heart in ways characters created by other people could never really hope to compete with, so she (and my other MMO characters) do not really count. And also sometimes Hisi really annoys me, because I'm a goddamn lunatic.
But basically I LOVE THEM ALL TOO MUCH AND I CANNOT CHOOSE. :(
To make this slightly less faily, you can ask me to choose between any two video game characters (...preferably from games I am actually familiar with) and I will try my damnedest to pick one over the other!
NOW. WILL I ACTUALLY GO REARRANGE MY FOOD ON THE NEW SHELF? Or will I sit here and stare blankly at the walls. Decisions, decisions...
