Two parts to this. One's some pictures, one's some musicmeme.
I am spamming images of my cat again!
First, some napping cat.
Okay, I guess that last one is more "cat washing his ear" than it is "cat napping" but, uh. OH LOOK CAT PLAYING WITH STRING.
(There is also this one, which is that above one from a slightly different angle and with my hand blocking part of the flash.)
YAY CAT PICTURES.
(His current most-common nickname is Pest.)
And part two is one of those memes where you're assigned a letter and then you have to post 5 songs, but as history has established, I'm bad with numbers.

quadruplify gave me K, but only after first giving me R, which I indicated I had done already. TOO BAD I DID IT AGAIN ANYWAY 'cause I'd already started piling songs and was like, eh, why not. So this is five twice. Only it's not really five twice because, as I said. Bad with numbers.

I only started listening to them because their band name amused me (apparently it's a quote from a movie), but their stuff is pretty awesome, so who's to complain about my methods?

Again with the name. Actually, I heard "Earth Versus the World" and decided it was awesome, and then I found out the song, artist, and album (Diplomatic Immunity) names and was like, that is amazing and I must own it. SO THEN I DID.

Eternity: Memory of Lightwaves - Final Fantasy X-2 OST

Jecca, this starts with neither R nor K, I hear you protest. YES. WELL. UH. When I ripped the CD onto my computer, it got some of the translations a little funny (it doesn't like foreign CDs). For example, this one came out as KUON ~ Memories of Waves and Light. ... As evidenced by the file name and all. So it gets an honourable mention. And also because COME ON THIS IS EASILY THE BEST PIECE OUT OF THAT GAME and one of the best Final Fantasy pieces, ever, okay, it's pretty, and I love it, so shut up. Even if I'd utterly hated FFX-2 (which I did not), this piece would probably have made up for it all. I LIKE IT THAT MUCH.
Radical Dreamers - Chrono Cross OST

This is a fantastic song from a fantastic game and I wish everyone could play it but apparently it never saw global release, because Square is stupid? Anyway, it's a great game, and you don't even need to have played Chrono Trigger to get it (though it does make it better if you have).
And then next two each have two versions of the same song (making a total of four more).
Rolanberry Fields - Final Fantasy XI OST

I'm not hugely fond of this track, partly (or perhaps entirely, I honestly don't know) because my STUPID BRAIN keeps hearing strains of another song in it and inserting the lyrics over the instruments and it makes me go o_@ because it just does not FIT. AT ALL. (The song, by the way, is the Cranberries' "New New York"... I DON'T EVEN KNOW, OKAY?)

OH HEY THIS IS COOL, someone took a bunch of Transformers: Animated toys and redid them as the whole Beast Wars cast (well, okay, Blackarachnia and Waspinator didn't really take much effort). Check it out!
(MEANWHILE, IN REALITY... my brain is refusing to shut down at night. I have been up until 6 am and up by 10:30 the last two nights, and while I'm beginning to drag physically, my brain is still plugging away at... something. It's all subconscious brain-noise, so I don't even know what it's getting up to that's keeping me wide awake until all hours of the morning...)
