I HAVE NEW GLASSES.
I CAN SEE.
Blurriness. I know you love me, but I really feel we should break it off for a while. (I... I'm sorry. It's not you. It's me.)
Hello, words. Hello, little details. It is so lovely to see you again after so long~
These new frames do not have a bottom half. It's a little weird, and I'm not sure I like it, but it was half frames or square frames, and the square frames made my face look much more lopsided than it actually is. And I cannot complain too much yet, because the ear hooks aren't fraying into plastic bits and biting into my scalp and pulling my hair outyet.
And while we were picking them up, we passed a Ben & Jerry's scoop shop and were reminded that it was free ice cream day, so I got ice cream without having to pay for it. Joy!
And just because I feel compelled to note this somewhere, I've several ideas I want to incorporate in the Ongoing Rewrite of UNENDINGNESS (I did a lot of brainstorming in the airport and on the first flight Sunday evening), but I appear unable to start actually working on it. This is frustrating. (At least - I'm jinxing myself here, I just know it - this time it's not because I have Mirage knocking on my skull again.)
