Choco-name list.

The very vast majority of these are provided by my brother and are largely intended to be ridiculous. But I am copy/pasting and too lazy to edit everything out.


Pretty Flood, Obsidian Destruction, Velvet Stardust, Warrior Princess, Final Flight, Stylish Stream, Spring Torpedo, Super Fatty, Wing Zero, Storm Trooper - he's decided to raise a new chocobo for that name alone, Super Trooper, Frozen Samurai, Leaping Pony, Omega Fatty, Rain Guter, Wild West, Lucky Caesar, Flying Craft, Flower Power, Optimal Speed, Optimal Speedster, Million Zillion (this is totally a Tarutaru's chocobo), Liberty Destroyer, Tranquille anything (Torpedo, Tornado, Titan, Firecracker), Feathered Eagle, Feathered Titan, Invincible Clipper*, Clipper* Incarnat, Metal Meteor, Transient Dream... Caramel Dance**, Mirage Illusion (redundancy for the win), Quantum Leaper.


Meanwhile, I'm sitting over here thinking, "I kinda like the name Agate. What can I put with Agate?" (The real question is, do I actually like Agate, or has all this reading up on Quantum Mechanics destroyed my mind?) Also, I kind of hope my chocobo is female.



* Clippers are one of the crabs of Vanad'iel, though there's also a ferry called the Manaclipper.

** Someone's edited FFXI character models and made one (well, several, but I'm only linking one) of those caramelldansen things. It rather disturbs me.

Not the chocobo icon for once.

They've announced their first guest for BotCon. It's David Kaye.

We are pleased, yes. His panels are great fun.


In other news, Day One of chocobo raising has gone well. I handed my egg over to Hantileon and he set it up with a nice little nest. Then I gazed warmly at it for like an hour because I am both appallingly lame and ridiculously pleased with my chocobo. It hasn't even hatched yet.

...This is going to be a long month, isn't it?

There's still the issue of a name. I've got one tentatively picked out if it's male, but still not sure about a female name. Mom's suggested using "Vega" for part of it, but I'm not fond of that. (I hope it is female. Not for any specific reason, really, though. I will love it more than is sane or healthy regardless.)



... meanwhile, the little sane part of my mind is sitting in the corner pinching the bridge of its nose and wondering what on Earth is wrong with me. I don't know, sanity. I really, really do not know.
