Honestly, I'm surprised we're still standing.

We've just finished a day of thunderstorms. No, really. They started early this morning - 6 am? Around there. They've finally moved on. (Actually, there was about a two hour break in the afternoon, but never mind that.)

I stood out on the front porch and watched the storm for a while. It was fantastic! But it is over now. ... Obviously. Seeing as I am using a computer.

Unfortunately, I don't think this is going to do anything to break the humidity.


Mom gets on her plane in five hours. whee! I hope she has fun (and no, seriously, why is everyone - like five people - going to California this week? SO CONFUSED. California is not that great).

And, tomorrow? 93 with 100% humidity? I have never in my life been so glad to know I have to spend eight hours at work on my feet. Oh, that's brutal.
