Giant Yard Sale!

It's Harvest Market weekend, which means people are trying to sell all sorts of thing in what is very nearly my backyard. There're some nifty things out in the flea market (I bought some tea from the very nice tea-people. They used to have a tea room, but closed it down. Very happy to have my hojicha, though). Didn't see the video game man. Maybe he was scared off by the rain. I don't know.

Grabbed a bunch of nifty fabric from the clutter barn for thirty cents (yay, cheap fabric!), then wandered off to the toy barn. It used to be right by the clutter barn, but they finally (after over twenty years) decided to move the toys indoors so that they wouldn't all get ruined in the rain.

I poked around the books but it was mostly romance-drama stuff and not anything I'd actually read except in extreme circumstances. But in the toy bins, I found a (Beast Wars) Silverbolt! He's missing his missiles and his joints are extremely stiff, but I'm working at him and he's loosening up a little. Not sure what I'll do with him later. Mine's still in perfect condition aside from the missing paint on his beast-nose, which includes the missiles. Maybe I'll give him away.

They also had what appeared to be some McDonald's sort of jet. Red Decepticon. It folded in half to transform. No idea who it was supposed to be (only red jet I think of off the bat is Thrust, and it wasn't him). He was missing a wing. I left him there (for now?). There was also ... half an Autobot? Looked like a trailer. There were legs that folded up, but I didn't see any other features. I don't know who that was supposed to be, either. Still, a Silverbolt! Yay. Not my favorite character by a long shot, but it's always neat to find old toys.


Now I go to eat either soup or a burrito. And pie. Yay, pie.
